Form & Light Studio photographs corporate and institutional events across Canberra and the ACT — conferences, award nights, product launches, building openings, board functions and staff gatherings.

The approach is documentary and editorial: observing how a room works, how people interact, and how light and space shape the character of an occasion. Coverage is discreet. Speeches, presentations and formal moments are captured reliably, alongside the unguarded exchanges that give an event its texture.

How it works

Before the event. We ask for your run sheet, key contacts, shot priorities, venue access details and any branding or VIP coverage requirements. Knowing what matters to you before the day is what makes discreet coverage possible.

On the day. Documentary-style coverage with attention to atmosphere, interaction, light and spatial context. Professional lighting is used where the venue requires it.

Afterwards. Professional colour correction and curation, delivered through a private online gallery with download access. Final edited images within 5 business days. Priority 24-hour delivery is available for social media.

Pricing

Event photography from $1,350.

  • Essential — up to 3 hours onsite, up to 60 edited images — $1,350

  • Extended — up to 5 hours onsite, up to 100 edited images — $2,000

  • Full Day — up to 8 hours onsite, up to 160 edited images — $3,000

Each package includes the creative fee and post-production, professional colour correction and curation, high-resolution images, web and social-optimised versions, and delivery via a private online gallery.

Additional services

  • Additional onsite coverage — $300 per hour

  • Additional edited images beyond the included allowance — $25 each

  • Priority 24-hour delivery, 5 social media images — $250

  • Same-day social highlights — from $300

  • Additional retouching, drone photography and extended licensing — quoted separately

Licence and booking

Bookings include a perpetual, global, non-exclusive licence for your website, social media, internal marketing and editorial or promotional use related to the event. Copyright remains with Form & Light Studio. Third parties not listed on the original invoice require a separate licence.

Travel within Canberra is included. A 30% booking fee confirms your date. Full terms are set out in our frequently asked questions.
